I'm a student at Johnson University studying Youth Ministry & Preaching alongside Bible & Theology. I love hanging out with friends, playing disc golf, pickleball, and other fun things — and I have the worst sports curse of all time as a Cleveland fan.
After that CIY experience, I was given the chance to host a Fellowship of Christian Athletes huddle at my high school in January 2023. From then on, youth ministry became the only option that made sense to me. Thank God for that clarity.
Why I Built This
Working across youth groups, YoungLife, and discipleship in my own friend group, I could never keep track of every conversation. So I thought there had to be a better way — that's how Roots came to exist.
The Mission
Roots exists to help youth pastors and volunteers do intentional relational discipleship — the kind that changes lives — without getting buried in logistics. It shouldn't require a big budget or a tech background.
Tech & Transparency
Built with React, Firebase, and deployed on Vercel. Student data is stored securely with strict access controls — your workspace data never leaves your team.
